Weather
This is my recent work for the Boston Globe, which is published on February 9. This is about the ‘Weather’ written by Jenny Offill.
The main character Lizzie, a librarian is convinced that the end is coming. However, she also believes that the world is continuing to end but it is still something. Although she is an acerbic observer, but she still has hope for a pre-death life.
I tried to depict these moods and feelings through the backdrop of the city, the endangered nature and the door placed in front of her.
