The Dutch House
The Boston Globe Book Review commissioned a piece for the book by Ann Patchett titled "The Dutch House.”
In partnership with George, our aim of the piece was to visually show the feeling of absence which a brother and sister, Danny and Maevs have. Also, we had to depict the impossibility of seeing the past as it actually was. So it jumps into pieces just like their memories not linear. Their facial figures and holes in their chest shows the emotion of absence, including their mother and home.
